To rescue the passenger, the passengers present at the station and various railway staff together pushed the entire train away. As a result, the passenger was rescued safely and soundly.
The passenger was hurrying to board a train from Perth station to Stirling city station on Wednesday morning when his leg slipped and got stuck between the train and the platform. Passengers and railway staff at the station hurriedly asked the train to stop. Then everyone together pushed the train weighing about 90 tons and brought out the passenger. David Hayes, a witness, told the ABC the man was standing next to the train door to take his place when he suddenly slipped and fell down. His leg got stuck and couldn't be pulled out. We quickly go and ask the driver to stop the train. The railway staff then tried to dislodge the train in a single effort but when it could not be moved the help of the passengers was sought. Then all the passengers present at the station are tried together. Although the first attempt was not successful, the passenger's leg was pulled out on the second attempt.
A doctor in an ambulance at the station attended to the passenger after the rescue and said there were no serious injuries. David Hayes said the number of passengers at the station made it easier to rescue him. The person thanked everyone for their cooperation in this rescue work.
