According to the sources of Election Commission, the period of data collection for updating the voter list in Dhaka and Narayanganj City Corporation areas has been extended by 3 days till September 13. EC Public Relations Director SM Asaduzzaman told the media that the Commission had taken this decision on Wednesday. He said, 'so that no one who is eligible to vote is left out, the time has been extended by 3 days. During this time, the work of collecting information will go on from house to house.'
Meanwhile, from September 1 to update the voter list, many have complained that no one has come to the house even though they are supposed to go door to door to collect information. Where to go and how to give information was not informed.
It should be noted that the work of collecting data to update the voters list of Dhaka city started from last September 1. In this regard, the work of updating the voter list of the third phase is currently going on across the country.
