The Dhaka Times Desk Next Sunday, January 5, 2014, the 10th National Parliament Election of Bangladesh will be held. Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Raqib Uddin Ahmed announced the election schedule in an address to the nation today at 7:30 pm on Monday. He also said that the army will be deployed to conduct the election smoothly Kazi Rakib.
Kazi Rakib He said, "On January 5, 2014, the 10th National Assembly elections will be held in a joyful atmosphere with the participation of all categories of people including political parties, intellectuals, journalists, students and with the sincere efforts of all categories of government, semi-government and private officials and employees involved in the election. Expressing Finally, I would like to personally assure everyone that we will take all necessary measures to conduct a fair, free and impartial election. Thank you all. May Allah, the Most Merciful, help us.”
According to the constitution 24th January Kazi Rakib mentioned in his speech that the Election Commission has taken this decision as the election has been announced. The Election Commission wants to uphold the constitution without delay.
Last day for submission of nomination papers as per schedule December 2, Monday. Applications will be scrutinized 5 to 6 December. Last day for withdrawal of candidature December 13. Acceptance of election Kazi Rakib Said, "I will prove our acceptance through work. Therefore, no exemption will be given in the implementation of the Election Code of Conduct. Who is in any position will not be seen. If he breaks any code of conduct only that will be seen and strict action will be taken accordingly. The success of any election largely depends on the conduct of the candidates contesting the election.”
