The Dhaka Times Desk A 14 feet long python was recovered from Srimangal in Moulvibazar. A group of workers of Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation caught this python unharmed.
This 14 feet long python was caught from the jetty road of Srimangal suburb on Tuesday. This python is housed in Srimangalstha Zoo of Wildlife Seva Foundation. It has been informed that it will be released in Lauachhara National Park today, Wednesday.
Locals found the snake in a bamboo grove near Abdul Malik's house on the bank of Jainka Rham on Jetty Road. They panicked and tried to beat the snake with sticks. Bangladesh Wildlife Service Foundation came to know about the matter and a group of their workers reached the spot and brought the python down from the bamboo after about 2 hours of effort. It was later measured to be 14 feet long.
When this news spread, there was a sensation in the area. Hundreds of people thronged to catch a glimpse of the python.
