So how to factory reset your smartphone? Today we will present those strategies for you.
1. Android:
Here's what you need to do to do a factory reset on Android:
1. Go to smartphone settings from there Backup & Reset.
2. Select Factory data reset.
3. Then tap on Reset phone.
4. Now wait some time with Erase everything.
This method is applicable for all Samsung smartphones starting from Samsung Galaxy S5. It will also work on Note 3, HTC One, LG G3, Sony Xperia Z2, etc. But if this method fails to factory reset then-
1. Turn off your smartphone.
2. Press and hold the volume down key and power key together for a while and you will see a new screen is opened called fastboost.
3. Now scroll down with the volume down key and select the factory option. It's over.
2. iPhone
The process of factory resetting iPhone is-
1. Go to the settings section of the iPhone and select the General tab
2. Now select Erase all content and settings from there.
3. Now a warning page will appear asking if you want to delete all your data. If you click OK, all data on your iPhone will be deleted. Then the iPhone will restart itself.
Note that this process is applicable for all versions except iPhone 6.
3. Windows
1. Go to the About tab from Settings
2. Then click Reset your phone
3. A warning page will appear asking if you want to reset it. If you click OK, your phone will be reset.
This process is applicable for all Windows Phones.
