The Dhaka Times Desk February 14 is Valentine's Day. And the more it approaches, the greater the preparation. Many have given special clothes to be made. But a lot of bad news for these lovers. And that is the marriage on Valentine's Day!
Preparations for Valentine's Day have already started before the beginning of February. TV channels are taking various programs on Valentine's Day. People all over the world are busy with how to celebrate this special day. But suddenly such a news can hurt the lovers. But Bangladeshi lovers have nothing to fear. The reason for such fear is the lovers of India. It has been announced. It is said that on Valentine's Day, if lovers are seen holding roses together or in a park hugging on that day, they will be married according to social norms. If the lovers do not belong to the same religion or caste, they have to go through a process of purification.
Valentine's Day is just 6 days away. But before that, the Hindu Mahasabha of the western Uttar Pradesh of the country sat down. With this exceptional announcement, they said that on this day, if the lovers celebrate this day together, they will be given in marriage. They feel that such western culture is celebrated in public which never suits a country like India. So the Hindu Mahasabha gave this instruction.
Mahasabha president Chandra Prakash Kaushik told the media that in a country like India, 365 days of the year are the days of love. But what is the need to celebrate Valentine's Day on February 14?
He also said that, 'We are not against love, but those who claim to love each other should get married immediately. If they tell us that they need time to think, then surely they should not hang out together. If it is caught in the eye, we will also inform their parents.'
The Hindu Mahasabha has appointed various teams in western Uttar Pradesh to find the lovers who had quarreled about marriage 10 days ago.
Meanwhile, the youth of those regions have expressed their anger at the announcement of the Hindu Mahasabha. They said, 'Love is a matter of two minds. What is on one's mind, and how one loves whom is a matter of one's free will; It cannot be determined by anyone. It amounts to usurping individual liberty.'
