A petrol bomb attack was carried out on Maitri Express train from Dhaka to Kolkata today. This attack happened at Ishwardi station. This attack was carried out at Ishwardi railway station around 3 o'clock on Sunday. But no one was injured.
According to Ishwardi station sources, someone threw a petrol bomb on the engine of the train while leaving Ishwardi station at around 3 o'clock today. This causes the outer part of the engine to catch fire. The train was then brought back to the station and the fire was extinguished.
The passengers of the train were panicked during this incident. The passengers got down from the train in fear. When the situation normalized around 4:30 pm, the damaged engine was changed and the train left Ishwardi.
