The Dhaka Times Desk Mumbai police beat up two Muslim youths on suspicion of terrorism. Suspecting Pakistani terrorists or ISIL agents, they were beaten mercilessly.
The families of the youths in Mumbai's Bandra area alleged that their sons were arrested and beaten mercilessly by suspected Pakistani terrorists or ISIL agents.
According to IRIB sources, 19-year-old Asif Sheikh and Danish Sheikh work as trainers in a local gym. On their way back from Bhava Hospital, the police caught them and took them to the police station last Saturday morning. Asif was allegedly beaten severely with a belt and stick for 3 hours.
A neighbor of Asif told the media that the person who is admitted in the hospital is Asif's relative. Seeing him late at night while returning by bike, the police took them to the police station. First, Danish was slapped by the police. Asif asked the police why he was being killed, which made the police even more angry. They forcibly took Asif to the interrogation room, laid him on the table and brutally tortured him with belts and sticks for 3 hours.
It is to be noted that in recent times many incidents have been taking place against Muslims in India. In the end, the Prime Minister of that country also had to give a speech on the issue of a Muslim's cow slaughter.
