But the matter will be clear to you if you go back 5 years before the battle of Palashi i.e. 1752 then you will find that the month of September 1752 had 19 days. Really surprising event!
What actually happened in September 1752?
Various studies have shown that before 1752, the Julian calendar was in use in England. According to the Julian calendar, a year was 365 days and 6 hours long. On the other hand, according to the Gregorian calendar, 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes and 46 seconds were originally considered as one year. Although the Gregorian calendar was introduced in other European countries before 1752, England still followed the Julian calendar. That is why the people of England continue to suffer from date confusion in international affairs. Issues of international importance often arose.
That is why the Parliament of England reformed the Julian calendar and finally decided to follow the Gregorian calendar. At that time many disagreed to accept this decision, but later thinking about the international benefits, all were forced to accept it. As such, England is about 11 days behind according to the Gregorian calendar. To compensate for this, the Julian calendar was abandoned after 2 September. All are instructed to calculate September 3 as 3+11 i.e. September 14.
On September 2, 1752, English people used September 2 for all official functions. And because of the postponement of 11 days in one night, the tired English people slept on the night of September 2, but they woke up directly on September 14! In the span of just one night, 11 days were lost from the history of England.
From 3rd to 13th September 1752, during these days indeed no baby's voice echoed in the air in England! Those who were born between September 3 and 13 the previous year (year 1752) were a year older without a happy birthday! That is, they could not celebrate any birthday on those days in the following year 1752.
