How to get Indian 'Eid Visa Camp' benefits?
This 'Eid Visa Camp' has been started for Bangladeshi citizens to get Indian visa easily on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. However, many people do not know the rules and regulations even if they are interested in getting the benefits of this camp.
The Indian High Commission launched this special camp on the morning of June 4 at the Indian High Commission's New Chancery Complex 1-3 United Nations Road (adjacent to the American Embassy) office in Baridhara of the capital. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal inaugurated this camp by cutting the ribbon. State Minister for Foreign Affairs and Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla were present at this time.
This program which started on June 4 (except June 10) will continue till June 16 from 8 am to 2 pm every day.
Visa applicants can submit their tourist visa application directly through this camp without advance appointment date or e-token. Indian visa receipt date and e-token usually cost 2 to 3 thousand rupees. Because of this camp, that irony no longer exists.
Tourist Visa Camp:
The Eid camp is said to be organized only to receive tourist visa applications from Bangladeshi nationals who do not have an appointment date/e-token. Applicants who have appointment dates can submit their visa applications at IVAC centers in Gulshan, Dhanmondi, Uttara and Motijheel in Dhaka and in Barisal, Mymensingh and Khulna outside Dhaka. Applications for medical, business and other visa categories will be accepted at the respective IVAC centers.
How to get to the camp
'Eid Visa Camp' New Chancery Complex of Indian High Commission at 1-3 UN Road, Baridhara. The camp will run from June 4-16. This camp has to be entered through Chancery Gate on Park Road. No bags and mobiles can be brought inside the camp.
The camp will be open only for Bangladeshi citizens currently residing in Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Mymensingh divisions. Applicants have to appear in person and submit the application form. However, an application form must be submitted on behalf of family members (parents, children or spouses) who wish to travel together. The applicant's passport should be valid for at least 6 months on the date of application and at least two pages of the passport should be blank.

Fee Rs 600:
The visa processing fee of the Indian Visa Application Center, the outsourcing agency of the Indian High Commission, is only Rs 600 for accepting visa applications. There is no visa fee other than the visa processing fee. Indian High Commission does not have any agents or intermediaries for issuing visas. The person promising to issue the visa is asked not to pay any money.
