It is known that Liton was doing duty in the last shift of midnight like other days. From Dubai Airport, the four passengers took their taxi cab to reach their destination in Muraqabat area. They had 4 bags.

RTA Chief Executive Dr. Yusuf Al Ali immediately announced Liton a 1,000 dirham reward and free housing for one year. Then the CEO of RTA's railway branch, Abdul Mohsin Ibrahim, gave a 5 thousand dirham award to Yunus Liton. The authority also issues a certificate in recognition of integrity.
