The Dhaka Times Desk The story of torture by the security forces in Myanmar's Rakhine state is now in the world media. Now a touching picture of Rohingya child killing in Myanmar has emerged.
Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) opened fire on a boat carrying Rohingya fleeing to escape mass killings and gang-rapes by security forces in Myanmar's Rakhine state.
At least 15 people, including four children, were killed in three boat capsizing incidents. In addition, international media reported that 31 people are missing. Such a gruesome incident took place in the Naf River in the northern part of Mangdu, Rakhine, on Sunday night.
The day after that incident (Monday) at around 7 am Myanmar time, the bodies of two children and a woman were found on the banks of the Naf River. How ruthless people can be, this picture is proof of that!
One of them was lying on the ground in a manner that resembled the body of Syrian refugee Aylan Kurdi on September 2 last year.
The film, aired by Malaysia-based Rohingya Vision TV, has already gone viral on social media.
Seeing this gruesome picture of killing children, many have demanded that the United Nations intervene in the country to rescue Rohingya children from the hands of Myanmar.
Arvision TV said most of the occupants of the sunken boats were fleeing villagers from Raimabil village in North Maungdu.
It should be noted that on October 9, 13 border guards were killed in an attack by unidentified persons in three checkpoints in Maungdoo and neighboring Ratadong city of Rakhine province bordering Bangladesh. The security forces of Myanmar started raiding their villages accusing Rohingya Muslims. Since then the persecution of Muslims started. which is still ongoing.
