According to a report in the Financial Times, Amazon is working on bringing wearable tech products. The US e-commerce giant is set to make 'smart glasses' powered by virtual assistant Alexa.
It is reported that this wearable smart device from Amazon will look like ordinary glasses. But it will support Amazon's digital assistant Alexa. Users can also take help from Alexa in any situation or anywhere. It will use a special type of audio system, which will allow users to hear what Alexa is saying without connecting headphones.
It is known that Amazon and Microsoft announced a partnership last month. Under this agreement, the virtual assistants of both the organizations can work together, the information to be taken.
Recently, Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos said that they are working on expanding the virtual assistant Alexa. This initiative is taken to increase competition with artificial intelligence (AI) powered virtual assistants from other companies. Currently, only partnership with Microsoft is said to be completed for the implementation of the plan.
