Justin Trudeau featured a hijabi woman in a speech after winning the election. Remembering Canada's diversity, he vowed to protect Muslim rights. Justin Trudeau said in his speech, at a meeting a young mother came up to me with her child in her arms.
He said that he is a practicing Muslim. I will never forget the words of the hijab-wearing woman who held her baby towards me. The hijabi woman said that our child has the right to make his own decisions. I am voting for your party hoping that you will protect his right.
Prime Minister Justin said to all Canadian Muslims and Canadians, including that woman, I know that people from all corners of the world, of all faiths, have a role to play in building Canada.
The Prime Minister said, it is a diverse country. It is our moral responsibility to protect this diversity and the dignity of faith. After his promise, the crowd welcomed his speech with thunderous applause.
