After the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, 15 suspects were identified as Saudi agents. Their names and pictures are also published. The arrow of suspicion in Khashoggi's murder was mainly directed at them. Journalist Khashoggi went to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul to get divorce papers from his ex-wife. Soon after, Khashoggi wanted to marry his Turkish girlfriend, Hatis Genghis. But he never came back from there. Later it was heard that he was killed. His body was dismembered and thrown away in a box.
Journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brutally murdered on October 2, 2018 at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. At first, Saudi Arabia denied any involvement in the assassination.
