Jaipur Police has already lodged an FIR against these two organizations. Besides, three persons have been arrested on the charge of vandalism in the publishing house of Aal Jaipur. This news was given by Indian Express.
Rajasthan Muslim Forum leader Mohsin Rashid has filed the FIR under Sections 295-A and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code on charges of intentionally hurting religious sentiments. Incidentally the complainant is a leader of the minority cell of the ruling party Congress in the state.
The case was filed at Jaipur police station on Thursday on charges of linking terrorism with Salam, insulting the religious beliefs of Muslims, injury and criminal conspiracy. A total of 14 persons including the Rajasthan State Textbook Board, Sanjib Passbook Publication proprietor and author have been accused in the case.
Rajasthan State Textbook Board and Sanjib Passbook Publication publish the book for Class XII students. It is also reported to have been included as a textbook during the erstwhile BJP state government in Rajasthan. The state is currently ruled by the Congress party. The book is still part of the curriculum in government schools.
The complaint was filed by Mohsin Rashid, coordinator of 'Rajasthan Muslim Forum and Minority Cell' of Congress Party's Rajasthan wing.
Mohsin Rashid told Turkey's Anadolu Agency that earlier they also included Islamic terrorism in the BEd course. Now again in twelfth class is being taught against Islam. This effort is being made to create distrust towards Muslims and spread hatred against Islam.
He further said that the book attempts to incite and incite Muslim students and communities by directly associating Islam with terrorism and using the term 'Islamic terrorism'. Religious sentiments have also been hurt.
Rashid called for the book's author and publisher to be brought to book and 'immediate removal of this despicable material from the syllabus'.
