The Dhaka Times Desk The Election Commission has launched a service through its own website to facilitate the provision of National Identity Card and voter information to the citizens of the country. Through this service, voters and citizens of the country can access the EC website and see all the information including voter number or national identity card number.
The Election Commission feels that this will end various types of suffering of the citizens. Citizens can view their National Identity Card and Voter ID information by logging into the website through registration. As a result, various types of confusing situations resulting from loss or destruction can be dealt with. According to the Election Commission, their current database contains the information of about 9 crore voters. A Deputy Secretary of the Election Commission forwarded a proposal to the Election Commissioner that all the information of the voters should be kept open so that they can get it at any time. Based on this proposal, the Election Commission took this step. The Election Commission told them about this new service that if a voter lost their national identity card, they have to make a diary at the police station to collect it, but as the police station does not have the voter number or the national identity card number, it is not possible to accept that diary at the police station. And since there is no diary in the police station, the National Identity Card Division cannot accept this application. In such a situation, voters or citizens have to fall into a very confusing situation.
Besides, citizens need this ID card for opening bank account, admission to school or college, trade license or car license. The Election Commission said that this ID card is currently a very necessary tool for voters and citizens of the country to get any kind of service from the country. But if this card is lost or destroyed due to various reasons, the citizens fall into a lot of suffering. This service has been introduced to save them from this distressing situation. Here a citizen will register with all the required information and then through various verifications a password will be sent to him based on this password the citizen or voter will get access to view his own information on this website.
The election commission will provide this service, the citizens or voters of the country election commission website www.esc.gov.bd Enter the Here on the right side there is a link to National Identity Card Registration Section Clicking on it will take you to another webpage. or for direct entry www.nidw.gov.bd Enter there by clicking on the register button next to the verify NID on the left side and fill the specified boxes with correct information to register.
