The postal department is very picky. They don't even understand the value of love. And so two love letters written by the same person were read for 70 years! The misfortune of a US Navy officer named Al Fragakis. Two love letters written by him during the Second World War arrived in 2014!
Fragakis, a member of the US Navy, wrote two letters from San Diego to Dorothy Bartos Carlberg in 1945. The letters he wrote arrived at Carlberg's old home address in Chicago, but 70 years later.
The current resident of the house could not resist the urge to see the original recipient after receiving the letter from 70 years ago. And so he himself ran to find the real recipient of the letter. He finally gave the letters to Carlberg properly.
One letter to Carlberg read, 'You're the last girl I'm thinking about. For not trying to kiss you, I am very angry with myself.'After writing these letters, Fragakis and Carlberg never met again.
"Fragakis was really cool," Carlberg told the Chicago Tribune, though he didn't immediately express his emotions after receiving the two letters. My father was quite strict about it, but he liked the military guys.'
