He left the airport very secretly without using the VIP exit. Former Minister Abdur Latif Siddiqui went to the High Court to seek bail in various cases filed against him on Monday around 10:30 am.
His lawyer Nurul Islam Sujan told reporters that Abdul Latif Siddiqui returned home from Kolkata last night with Hulia on his head. He appeared before the High Court for anticipatory bail to avoid arrest.
It is to be noted that Abdul Latif Siddiqui insulted Hajj, Tabligh, Hazrat Muhammad (pbuh) and Prime Minister's son Sajib Wazed Joy during a reception given by members of Tangail Samiti in New York at a hotel in Jackson Heights, New York. Almost everyone including religious people of the country became angry against him. In such a situation, he was first expelled from the cabinet and then expelled from the party post. Arrest warrants are issued against him in 22 cases in 18 districts.
