The Dhaka Times Desk Today is the third death anniversary of Nandit Katha writer Humayun Ahmed. Grave ziarat, Koran Khani, Milad and Doa Mahfil are organized at his dream Nuhash Palli, the writer's burial place surrounded by greenery.

On the occasion of the third death anniversary of Humayun Ahmed, Humayun devotees including family members and close friends of Humayun Ahmed, writers, publishers have been gathering in Nuhash Palli ignoring the rain since morning. Devotees are participating in various programs including visiting Humayun Ahmed's grave. However, there is no flamboyance or grandeur in these events. However, his death anniversary is being observed simply.

Keeping the day ahead, a day before Humayun Ahmed's wife Meher Afroz Shawon appeared in Nuhash village with her children. In the morning she visited her late husband's grave with her children. Ignoring the rain, many Humayun devotees along with various media workers have come to Nuhash Palli since morning. Some are visiting, some are looking back at the memory of their beloved writer.

It should be noted that Humayun Ahmed, a bright star of the literary world, died of cancer on July 19, 2012 in a hospital in New York. Numerous books written by him have found a place in the hearts of the readers of this country.
