Indian visa can be applied for without e-token. However, except for travel (category T), all types of visa applications will be submitted directly to all Indian Visa Application Centers (IVAC) operated by the State Bank of India. That is, from now on, such visa applications can be submitted without an e-token or an online appointment schedule, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka has informed this information in a circular.
The categories of visas that will be directly deposited without e-token are:
# Business (B)
# Medical (M)
# Medical Attendant (MX)
# Student(s)
# Research (R)
# Journalist (J)
# Conference (C)
# Employment (e)
# Transit (TR)
# artist
# sports personality
# Spouse of Indian citizens
# Spouses of business persons
# Private sector ITEC trainees
# are family members of participants in training funded by the Government of India
# Foreign National (X).
Applications for these visas will be accepted at IVACs in Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna and Dhaka (Gulshan, Dhanmondi and Motijheel). To avail this facility, applicants have to submit the application form to the specified IVAC within 4 days of the 'Web Registration Date' found at the time of filling the online form. After 4 days, you have to fill the application form again.
The Indian High Commission notification also informed that the system of e-token/appointment date for Tourist (T) visa applicants is still in force as before. State Bank of India/IVACs have no agents/representatives in Bangladesh. Applicants will be fully responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in their forms and related documents, the notification said.
