He recently made this claim in an interview given to 'Democracy Now'. As a source, he claimed that this information was obtained from Hillary Clinton's leaked emails.
Assange claims Hillary allowed US-made weapons to flow into Qatar while she was secretary of state. Qatar has always been known to be friendly to the Muslim Brotherhood and Libyan rebels.
Assange alleged that those weapons were also used to overthrow the Gaddafi government in Libya. Efforts have been made to overthrow the Assad government in Syria! Assange claims that these weapons then reached the hands of Islamic Jihadists.
