The Dhaka Times Desk Forest animals are also now coming under the law. This time such a news has become the headline of the online news media. This time the bear has been accused in the case of honey theft!
Such a wonderful incident happened in Yunnan province in the southwestern part of China. There is a black bear accused in the case! The bear was spotted on an infrared camera while stealing honey from the area's protected natural beekeeping centers and collections. After being identified, the bear's name appears in the list of the main accused!
It is known that after stealing honey for several days, the theft was recorded by placing a hidden camera on a tree nearby. Staff at the natural beekeeping center found footage from an infrared camera recording the theft. The workers identified the 'thief' after seeing the footage and the case was settled by showing that footage.
The footage shows the bear using its mouth to open the lid of the mau-box. At that time, when the swarm of bees came out, the bear ran away. After confirming that the bees had fled, the bear returned. The bear then ran away with a wooden cask full of honey.
They suspect that the center's staff have previously found black bear footprints. Bear feces are also found in barrels near the apiary. But this case was not being settled due to lack of direct evidence.
