The Dhaka Times Desk The film 'Sonabandhu' starring the National Film Award winning actress Poppy is going to release on Valentine's Day.
Mamor Rubel has written the screenplay and dialogues of the film 'Sonabandhu' based on the story written by Mahbuba Shahreen. The film is directed by Jahangir Alam Suman.
Talking about this new film, Poppy said, 'My new film 'Sonabandhu' will be released on Valentine's Day. You can say this is my special gift for fans this Valentine's Day. I will be seen playing a different character in this film. My character name is Rashmi. Most of the time viewers will see me as a widow wrapped in white cloth in this film. I don't want to say more than that now.'
The film is fully ready for release. Everything from censors to dubbing and editing is done. Now just waiting for release. DA Taib acted opposite Poppy in this film. There is another popular actress of the present time Parimony.

It may be noted that the last released film starring Poppy is 'Paush Masare Pirit'. Tony Dice acted opposite her in this film. The film is directed by Nargis Akhtar. This film was released in several theaters in Bangladesh on September 2 last year.
